Who we are
This website is operated by Kyle Buck, trading as Digital Pineapple Co. ("Digital Pineapple", "we", "us"). You can contact us at kyle@digitalpineapple.co.
What information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. Currently, that's limited to the contact form on this website, where we ask for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your business name (optional)
- What kind of help you're enquiring about
- Any details you include in your message
We don't currently use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or non-essential cookies on this website.
How we use it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, discuss a possible project, and — if you go ahead with us — deliver the work you've asked for. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone, and we don't use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to keep in touch.
Who processes it
This website and its contact form are hosted using Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf in order to deliver them to us. We don't share your information with any other third party unless we're required to by law. If we start using additional tools that process personal information — for example, a CRM or email provider — we'll update this policy to reflect that.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, for the duration of that engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards for our own record-keeping. We don't keep personal information for longer than we need it for these purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see below.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. To do any of these, email kyle@digitalpineapple.co and we'll respond promptly.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not currently set non-essential cookies. If we introduce analytics or other tools in future that use cookies, we'll update this policy and add a cookie notice at that point.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business grows or our tools change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
